Build with a map of nature in hand.

Our ecologists survey the flora, fauna and habitats on your site, flag what matters most and shape operations with the smallest footprint.

One study for everyone who asks.

Regulators, banks, buyers and investors now ask the same thing: what lives around your site, and how much does your operation affect it? A biodiversity assessment answers with field data. We design it once so it serves your environmental impact assessment (AMDAL), your PROPER environmental rating, lenders and nature-related disclosure.

Nature risk, spotted before it becomes a problem.

  • Expansion without surprises

A protected species or critical habitat found late can halt construction. Early screening and surveys give you room to shift the site or the schedule.

More than 60% of Indonesia's endemic mammals are threatened with extinction.

  • Clear of conservation sanctions

Knowing which species live on your site helps your team avoid violations from day one. Indonesia's amended conservation law raises penalties for corporations and requires permit holders in areas of conservation value to help protect them.

  • Financing that doesn't stall

International lenders assess projects in sensitive habitats against IFC Performance Standard 6. An assessment built to that standard from the start means fewer findings in due diligence.

  • Ready for investor questions

Investors now ask how companies affect and depend on nature, and a new international standard asks for it to be built into strategy. Your baseline is the main input for both.

From first map to management plan.

  1. Redefine

    Screen the site

Before fieldwork, we check your site against protected areas, threatened-species ranges and land cover. The results set the survey's scope and season.

You receive: an initial risk map and a survey design.

  2. Redefine

    Survey the field

Our ecologists record vegetation, mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and aquatic life using plots, transects, camera traps and point counts. Surveying across two seasons gives a more complete species list.

You receive: a species list with IUCN, CITES and national protection status, plus a habitat map.

  3. Design

    Value what matters, plan mitigation

We assess High Conservation Values (HCV) and critical habitat under IFC PS6, then apply the mitigation hierarchy: avoid, minimise, restore, and only then offset. The aim is no net loss, or net gain in critical habitat.

You receive: an HCV and critical habitat assessment and a biodiversity management plan.

  4. Accelerate

    Report and set the baseline

We prepare the biology chapters for your AMDAL and environmental management and monitoring plan (RKL-RPL), PROPER data, and a LEAP analysis for TNFD disclosure. Your baseline is stored in Biodiv+ as the reference for every future monitoring round.

You receive: a ready-to-use baseline report and baseline data in Biodiv+.

A baseline that keeps working after the report.

Assessment data often ends up in a PDF that's hard to compare with the next survey. Biodiv+ stores your baseline with area polygons, species locations, IUCN, CITES and national protection status, and diversity indices. The same data feeds a biodiversity action plan, a critical habitat assessment, a TNFD disclosure or your RKL-RPL biology chapter.

Start with your site boundary.

Send us your site map and planned activities. We'll show you which nature risks to check first.
