Palm oil you can prove, from plot to tank.

We prepare the data European buyers, PROPER and ISPO ask for at every phase of your estate, mill and refinery, and bring it together on Ailesh+.

European buyers, PROPER and ISPO now ask the same questions.

Plot geolocation, POME pond data and peat water-table records get reused by every obligation. Prepare them once, properly, and you save cost while protecting market access.

Risk

From 30 December 2026, palm products can only enter the EU if every plot of origin is proven deforestation-free since the end of 2020. At home, estates inside the state forest estate are being brought into line.

4.1 million ha of recovered forest-estate land is now run by state-owned Agrinas Palma.

According to the European Commission, 2026; Antara, 2026

Opportunity

Covering your POME ponds turns the mill's largest emission source into electricity. Most of that potential is still untapped.

650 → 70 kg CO2e per tonne of CPO with methane capture.

According to the RSPO, 2018

Priority

Map the geolocation of every plot, set the mill's emissions and water baseline, then build HCV and peat plans that can be audited. That data fills Due Diligence Statements, PROPER documents and ISPO audits at once.

According to the BPK legal database

From land evaluation to replanting, one chain of data.

The data buyers and regulators ask for starts forming the day the land is chosen. Pick your phase to see what needs to be ready.

Phase 1: Land status is settled before the first seedling.

Estates inside the state forest estate are now being brought into line, and plots cleared after 2020 are closed to the European market. Decisions made here cannot be fixed by certification later.

What needs to be ready

    • 1.1 Forest and peat status

Confirm the planned estate sits outside the state forest estate and protected peat before you buy the land.

According to Presidential Regulation 5/2025 and Government Regulation 57/2016

    • 1.2 Proof of no deforestation

Check forest-cover imagery as at 31 December 2020 for nucleus, scheme and prospective supplier areas.

    • 1.3 Nature and social baseline

Survey flora, fauna, rivers and community rights, then run FPIC before any land is cleared.

Phase 2: Today's design figures set decades of operating cost.

The AMDAL, technical approvals and land application licence all cite the same design figures. Getting them right once costs far less than fixing them while the mill runs.

What needs to be ready

    • 2.1 AMDAL and technical approvals in parallel

One study covers the estate, mill, POME ponds and boiler, processed together with the effluent standards.

discharge capped at 2.5 m³ per tonne of CPO

According to Environment Ministry Regulation 5/2014

    • 2.2 Methane capture from the first drawing

Design the pond cover and biogas genset together with the POME ponds.

    • 2.3 Smallholder schemes and plot registry

Set the scheme model before the land title (HGU) is issued and build a polygon plot registry for Due Diligence Statements.

community plantations of at least 20% of land from non-forest areas outside the HGU or released forest estate

      According to Government Regulation 26/2021

Phase 3: No fire, water table held, every plot recorded.

Clearing land by burning is prohibited, and a peat water table that drops too deep counts as damage. Plot numbers and planting dates recorded now become your EUDR registry.

What needs to be ready

    • 3.1 Zero-burn clearing

Firebreaks, patrols and hotspot monitoring are logged as evidence for the construction phase.

    • 3.2 Canal blocks and monitoring wells

Keep the cultivated-peat water table at 0.4 metres or shallower from day one.

      According to Government Regulation 57/2016

    • 3.3 Plot and worker registry

Record polygons, planting dates and seed origin, along with contractors' working days and ages, from day one.

Phase 4: Your first milling year becomes the benchmark for every figure.

Water, power and emissions intensity in later years will be compared against this one. Sensors and meters installed before milling make those figures auditable instead of estimated.

What needs to be ready

    • 4.1 Online monitoring and the operating certificate

Install online wastewater monitoring (SPARING) at the pond outlet before applying for the operating certificate (SLO).

According to Environment and Forestry Ministry Regulation P.93/2018 as amended by P.80/2019

    • 4.2 Energy, water and emissions baseline

The first energy audit, water balance and base-year greenhouse gas inventory become the reference for PROPER and decarbonisation plans.

    • 4.3 Entering PROPER and the supplier registry

Prepare your first environmental monitoring report (RKL-RPL) and trial Due Diligence Statements with importers.

Phase 5: Methane, water and extraction rate decide your rating and your margin.

The difference lies in evidence of efficiency and methane capture, and the same figures also bring mill costs down.

According to KLH/BPLH, 2025; Katadata, 2026

What needs to be ready

    • 5.1 From Green towards Gold

Build evidence on LCA, energy and water efficiency, waste 3R, biodiversity and SROI for smallholder programmes.

    • 5.2 Water and power per tonne of FFB

Close the gap with condensate recovery, variable speed drives and regular audits.

4.01 vs 1.2 m³ of water per tonne of fresh fruit bunches, an Aceh Tamiang mill against the modern-mill reference

According to the UNDIP Journal of Environmental Science, 2026

    • 5.3 Due diligence and listed-company reporting

Prepare a Due Diligence Statement for every EU shipment. For listed companies, the PSPK 1 and 2 disclosure standards phase in from 2027.

      According to IAI, 2025

Phase 6: Replanting and new lines change figures you've already permitted.

Old estates are replanted, peat is rewetted and refineries add biodiesel lines for B50, in place since July 2026. Every capacity change needs an amended Environmental Approval.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources via Bisnis.com, 2026

What needs to be ready

    • 6.1 Zero-burn replanting

Chip old trunks, keep HCV areas and arrange temporary income for harvesters and scheme smallholders.

    • 6.2 Amending the Environmental Approval

File the amendment before a biodiesel line, biogas genset or estate expansion starts running.

    • 6.3 Carbon units from methane and peat

Record methane capture and peat restoration as mitigation actions whose carbon units enter the national registry.

      According to Presidential Regulation 110/2025

One source of data for PROPER, due diligence and PSPK.

Without a single source, estate, mill and sustainability teams copy the same figures into different documents, and every copy leaves room for a mismatch at audit. Ailesh+ brings it together: energy in Energy+, emissions and methane in Carbon+, waste in Waste+, HCV in Biodiv+ and smallholder programmes in Social+. PROPER+ and ESG+ then build your reports from that same source.
