A training session with a community group

Know your neighbours. Know what changed.

We map the communities around your operations, identify who holds influence, then measure whether your programmes actually change their lives.

The social licence is unwritten, but revocable.

Blocked roads and rejected programmes almost always start with something nobody mapped. A social impact assessment captures the needs and expectations of the communities around your operations, then measures the change your programmes create. The results guide management, from choosing programmes to answering lenders.

From community data to board decisions.

  • Risks spotted early

A stakeholder map and a record of complaint hotspots show where tension could build. Your team has time to talk before a complaint turns into open conflict.

341 agrarian conflicts were recorded across Indonesia in 2025.

  • Programmes that hit the mark

Programmes are chosen from needs and strengths mapped with residents. The budget isn't spent on whoever asks loudest, and vulnerable groups are reached too.

  • Ready for the Gold assessment

The environment ministry lists SROI among what it expects from Gold candidates in PROPER, Indonesia's corporate environmental rating. We calculate it with documented assumptions, so the figure holds up under scrutiny.

  • Answers for buyers and lenders

Buyers tracing their supply chains and banks applying IFC standards ask about grievances, labour, land and indigenous peoples. A well-built assessment answers with evidence.

  1. Redefine

    Map the communities around you

We run household surveys, interviews, focus groups and participatory mapping with residents. For supply chains, carbon projects or international finance, we add social due diligence and a Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) process.

You receive: a social mapping report and a stakeholder map with priority areas.

  2. Design

    Draw the path to change

We build a theory of change from budget to impact, with indicators you can measure. A Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) analysis makes sure women, older residents and vulnerable groups share the benefits.

You receive: a theory-of-change framework, outcome indicators and a stakeholder engagement plan.

  3. Design

    Measure results and their value

We measure residents' satisfaction through a community satisfaction index (IKM) survey and calculate SROI on net impact, after removing change that would have happened anyway.

You receive: an impact report and an SROI ratio built on assumptions anyone can check.

  4. Accelerate

    Track and improve

We move your baseline and indicators onto Social+, re-measure at regular intervals and recommend programme improvements.

You receive: an impact dashboard that keeps running and material ready for PROPER and your sustainability report.

Social data that's ready to compare every year.

Social mapping results often end up in a report nobody opens again, leaving the next evaluation without a baseline. Social+ keeps field data, community intelligence and your programmes in one place, then calculates SROI and impact the same way every year. Reports build themselves, and stakeholders can follow progress through their own portal.
